Fall foliage on the East Coast is something you don't want to miss. If you want the perfect fall day then visit Windham Mountain in the Catskills, New York. They have a scenic ski lift that you just hop on and it gives you the most incredible views of the fall leaves. The ski lift is only $20 and worth every penny. When you get to the top you can just hang out and take in the view. They have a few options of food to choose from, but not much. Dress warm as it gets chilly on the ski lift.

On the way home my friends and I decided to take a pit stop at Sleepy Hallow in New York, just 25 miles north of New York City. If you are a Halloween lover, you definitely don't want to miss this. This town has an interesting history that is quite beautiful to see. We decided to grab lunch in town and walk around. We also visited the Sleepy Hallow Cemetery. Everywhere you look there is something cool to see.

The original article 10 Reasons You Should Visit NYC in the Fall by Sam Op, argues that New York is the best place to visit during the months of September to October. She writes that it is less crowded and gives you the freedom to explore without as many tourists. The weather is beautiful as the humidity leaves and the temperature get cooler. The fall foliage in New York is a must see. The leaves change into the prettiest fall colors throughout October to early November. She also explains how there is so much to do in New York during fall. Including, plenty of vineyards, apple picking, pumpkin picking and hikes.

"After living in New York for over 12 years, I’d have to admit Fall is probably one of my favorite seasons in NYC! The leaves start changing to beautiful hues of oranges, yellows, and reds, the air is crisp, and everything gets really festive".

I agree with everything mentioned in the article. I have visited New York a few times during fall. After traveling Upstate New York during all seasons, fall is by far my favorite. The fall foliage is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. There are endless amounts of activities to do, and so many Airbnb's to choose from. Traveling to New York during fall is a must add to your bucket list.

Ever thought of sleeping in a shipping container? Well now you can! Last winter my friends and I stayed in an Airbnb called "The Scenic Orchard with Hot Tub & Beautiful Views", located in Barneveld, New York. It is a tiny house made out of a shipping container. Although it is made out of a container, you would never be able to tell. The huge floor to ceiling windows overlooking a beautiful view make the inside seem so spacious. My biggest concern while traveling is staying in a clean place. The Scenic Orchard was the cleanest stay I have ever had.

There are so many things to do nearby while visiting. It is a short ride to Old Forge. My friends and I decided to try out snowboarding while we were there. If that's not your cup of tea, then Old Forge is a great place to snowmobile if visiting in the winter. The hot tub is the perfect touch to relax and unwind. We had an amazing time while visiting, and I would recommend everyone to stay at this beautiful place.

Here's a link to a Tiktok I made of this Airbnb
